What we’re about
LB Young Professionals (LBYP) is a social club for professional residents of Long Beach. Mix & mingle with like-minded individuals, while exploring all that our incredible city has to offer.
Here are some pointers about what you can expect from LBYP:
1. Who attends these events? We welcome all backgrounds & fields, as long as you meet the criteria of the group (professionally employed and between the age of 25-44). Your LBYP member profile should include a clear, recent photo of yourself & responses that tell us more about you and your interests. Please do not leave the responses section blank or your request to join will not be approved.
2. Where do these events happen? The majority of events will be hosted in Long Beach. However, on rare occasions, we will propose events in surrounding cities.
3. What happens at these events? We typically set up two to four events a month - a Happy Hour & an Outdoor Activity are often included.
4. Any advice? The purpose of this group is to grow your social network! So you can leave the suit, tie, and business cards at home. Please refrain from attending in hopes of generating quick business. Whether you come alone or bring a friend, don't be shy!
