## Business, Capital & Decision Thinking
### About LeaderSHIFT
LeaderSHIFT is a curated business and leadership community for professionals, founders, operators, business owners, and people navigating important career or business decisions.
The purpose is simple: to help people think more clearly, recognize real-world business patterns, and make better decisions with less noise.
LeaderSHIFT is not a sales event, pitch night, networking free-for-all, funding application process, or coaching funnel.
It is a place to explore how businesses grow, where leverage exists, how capital actually works, why some opportunities succeed, and how to think more carefully at moments of change.
### What We Explore
LeaderSHIFT sessions may cover practical, experience-based topics such as:
- business structure and risk management;
- cash flow, leverage, financing, and capital strategy;
- government programs and grants, including how they actually work;
- real estate and business ownership frameworks;
- competitive positioning and decision timing;
- customer selection, pricing, and service design;
- import, export, operations, and scale;
- technology, systems, and business efficiency;
- business acquisition, expansion, and succession;
- common mistakes that prevent otherwise promising ideas from moving forward.
Sessions are educational, discussion-driven, and grounded in practical examples rather than theory, hype, or motivation.
### Who LeaderSHIFT Is For
LeaderSHIFT is best suited for people who:
- are at a career, business, ownership, or leadership inflection point;
- want clearer thinking rather than motivation;
- are operating a business, developing one, or considering their next move;
- want to better understand capital, risk, growth, and execution;
- prefer small, thoughtful rooms over loud events;
- value practical frameworks over trends;
- are comfortable listening, questioning, and learning;
- understand that ideas must be supported by preparation, commitment, and action.
Early-stage founders and aspiring business owners are welcome to attend for education and discussion.
However, attendance does not mean that an idea has been accepted for funding, development, partnership, investment, or individual advisory support.
### What LeaderSHIFT Is Not
LeaderSHIFT is not:
- a pitch night;
- an investor presentation;
- a funding application;
- a business-plan development service;
- a free consulting session;
- a promise of grants, financing, introductions, or partnerships;
- a place to recruit, sell, or promote services to other attendees;
- affiliated with any government agency, bank, lender, investor, or financial institution.
LeaderSHIFT is an independent educational community.
Information is shared so participants can research, evaluate, decide, and act for themselves.
The organizer and guest speakers are not responsible for developing, financing, operating, or participating in an attendee’s business idea.
Any separate advisory, consulting, funding, technology, partnership, or commercial engagement must be independently reviewed and formally agreed upon outside LeaderSHIFT.
### Format
LeaderSHIFT sessions are designed to remain calm, focused, and useful.
The format may include:
- small, in-person sessions;
- guided discussions;
- practical presentations;
- guest experts;
- case studies;
- optional questions and answers;
- thoughtful conversation among participants.
Some events are primarily informational. Others are more conversational.
Participation is always optional.
### Community Standards
To protect the quality of the room, participants are expected to:
- respect people’s time and attention;
- avoid unsolicited selling, pitching, recruiting, or promotion;
- contribute thoughtfully;
- allow others to speak;
- keep discussions respectful;
- avoid exaggerating experience, funding readiness, or business progress;
- maintain appropriate confidentiality;
- come curious, not entitled;
- understand that quality matters more than quantity.
Photography, audio recording, and video recording are not permitted without prior consent.
### Opportunities, Funding, and Partnerships
LeaderSHIFT may discuss business opportunities, funding structures, grants, financing, partnerships, and capital strategy in general terms.
These discussions are educational only.
A person who wishes to submit an opportunity to 37 Dimensions must do so through the separate opportunity-review process.
37 Dimensions primarily considers existing businesses and developed opportunities supported by evidence such as:
- operating history;
- revenue;
- customers;
- contracts;
- assets;
- intellectual property;
- founder investment;
- a capable management team;
- a developed product or service;
- financial information;
- or other meaningful evidence of execution.
A business idea, registered corporation, requested funding amount, or willingness to partner does not by itself make an opportunity funding-ready.
Concept-stage opportunities that require business planning, market analysis, structuring, financial modelling, technology planning, or roadmap development may be considered for a separate paid advisory engagement.
Submission, attendance, or discussion does not create a client, advisory, funding, investment, partnership, lender, borrower, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.
### About the Organizer
LeaderSHIFT is curated by Amit Kapoor.
His focus is helping people recognize business patterns, avoid costly mistakes, understand how capital and leverage work, and think more clearly about growth, risk, ownership, and direction.
LeaderSHIFT is designed for people who are prepared to listen, learn, assess their position honestly, and take responsibility for what happens next.
