Attracting Software Talent: Best Practices & Roundtable Discussion

Details
Successful workplaces all share one core element - an ability to attract talented employees. Regardless of product or services, a company’s long-term prospects require a healthy flow of good people.
The bar is set especially high in software development. The ideal employee is an adaptable, passionate, continual learner who can navigate ever-changing technologies with ease. They are pragmatic, active communicators, excellent team members, and can facilitate stakeholder and client communications. They are passionate about their craft, precise, consistently effective, and unflappable to their core. Unfortunately, everybody is seeking this same candidate.
How do you find the best talent to effectively meet your current and future needs? On 9/13, we'll have a dialogue around ways to identify and attract the best talent, whether it’s identifying high potential individuals early or finding the right senior-level employee. We'll start with a conversation centered on job listings in the market and explore best practices in developing a hiring funnel process that’s unique to your team’s needs, including peer insights from several Twin Cities tech companies. We'll finish the night with some guided discussion and sharing from the peers in the room.
