-Shawn Haukaas - President, August Ash

August Ash, a full-service Internet marketing and web development firm ranked as a Top 25 Web Development and Design Firm in the Twin Cities by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. With more than 20 years of leadership and operations management experience, he has successfully led numerous teams – from within a Fortune 500 company to start-ups to well-established firms. His professional expertise includes process development, employee coaching, strategic growth, change management and exemplary customer service.

-Brandy Churchill - Employee Program Manager & Agile Coach, CH Robinson

Brandy started as a programmer after a career change in 2014. She administers the Robinson IT Intern Program for onboarding summer interns, is assisting with a revamp of onboarding processes for all new hires in IT, connects interested employees with internal and external learning and networking opportunities, and recently kicked off a women’s group with the goal of providing an open environment for professional development opportunities, discussion and encouragement.

-Jason Stratton - General Manager IT, CH Robinson

Jason is an application development General Manager for C.H. Robinson where he has held various leadership roles over the past ten years. He is active in talent acquisition which includes both campus recruiting as well as leading on site group interview events. Jason is currently building a new onboarding program for developers that will cover business knowledge, Agile at CHR IT, and development skills. Graduates of the onboarding program will be permanently placed on teams ready to contribute, reducing impact of individualized onboarding and improving the overall early C.H. Robinson experience for all new developer talent.

-Fred Deichler - Development Manager and Co-President (http://www.nerdery.com/copresident), The Nerdery

Fred has been managing technical workforces since 2002 initially in the IT field and for the past 5 years in Software Development. At the Nerdery, Fred led the creation of an integrated feedback and review system that feeds into a complex career growth tool for engineers. With a focus on career growth and opportunities for current employees Fred has taken those learnings to help influence the Nerdery’s hiring and onboarding process.
