What we’re about
Leading in Complexity is a meetup for people responsible for decisions around strategy, transformation, and change in environments where organisations evolve, conditions shift, and simple cause-and-effect thinking stops working.
This is a space for those who:
- are accountable for outcomes, but can’t fully control the system
- are navigating change fatigue, competing priorities, and unclear signals
- sense that traditional change approaches don’t match the reality they face
The group blends:
- guided conversations grounded in real organisational challenges
- exploration of frameworks and ideas - used pragmatically, not as recipes
- short teaching inputs that introduce concepts, language, and perspectives that help clarify what to pay attention to and what to stop oversimplifying
This meetup is for leaders, managers, and change practitioners who want a place to think more clearly about the decisions in front of them, test assumptions, and learn from others facing similar tensions inside their organisations.
Rather than prescribing best practices, we focus on:
- sharpening judgment under uncertainty
- understanding patterns that only make sense in hindsight
- expanding how we frame problems, options, and trade-offs in complex situations
