GROUP NATURE WALK

Hey everyone, next social!
Date: Mon 25th May (bank holiday!)
Meeting time: 2pm
Walk around Newbold Comyn Country Park - here's the route
Meeting in front of the Newbold Comyn Arms pub at 2pm.
You can park in the Newbold Comyn leisure centre car park, it's free! Find that here.

It's a 5.5km route but will play things by ear, cut it shorter or go further, depending on group needs.

Afterwards, we'll pop into the pub.
(less pub-heavy socials are on the way after this one!)

Notes:

There will be elevation, muddy areas, likely steps, possibly stiles to step over
Only suitable if you can walk long distances - unfortunately this social is not wheelchair accessible
What to bring:
Sturdy footwear that's good for mud (e.g. walking trainers/boots)
Jeans are not recommended because of mud.
1.5L water
Weather appropriate stuff like suncream, sunglasses, sunhat, possibly waterproofs (check the weather on the day!)

Recommended:
Spare socks in case of muddy puddles
Antiseptic in case of rubbing footwear
