**Adopting agile at MetLife UK - Emma Treby**

MetLife UK has transformed its project delivery by adopting Agile methodologies since 2019. Emma will cover the journey, best practices like leadership commitment, training and continuous improvement, as well as lessons learned on adaptability, cultural shifts, incremental delivery, and fostering collaboration.

Emma Treby is a Release Train Engineer (RTE) at MetLife UK, specialising in Agile methodologies since 2019. Emma is known for her project management, team leadership, and process improvement skills.

**Get your message heard using the Pyramid Principle of Communication - Tim Calderhead**

If you struggle to make sure that your message is clear when you're communicating (especially at work), you're not alone. This talk will whizz through the 'Pyramid Principle' of communication - a tool created by a McKinsey Consultant back in the '60's - to help you clarify your thinking and distill your message into something easily understandable and actionable.

***About Tim***
Tim has a background in Continuous Improvement, and has worked in Telco, Utilities, Finance and Insurance. He had a brief stint as an OKR consultant, and now works in Strategy Delivery for a Sussex-based insurance firm.

He lives in West Sussex with his partner and dog, and his 'fun fact' is that he can fly a plane but doesn't (yet) have his license.

**SAFe havens and Trojan horses - Eddie Kenny**

SAFe is the marmite of the Agile industry. People love it or they hate it. If you find yourself in a SAFe transformation NOT of your own choosing then this talk is for you! I will share my experiences as a framework agnostic agilist, of navigating a SAFe roll out while staying true to my agile principles and values (all the while delivering true transformational value!).

Eddie is an agile coach who has been working with Agile since 2004 using XP, Scrum, Lean, Kanban & Scaled Agile.

He coaches teams, scrum masters, product owners, leaders, coaches, organisations and little humans.

He likes teaching agile with Lego & games and is also co-founder of the Lean Agile Brighton conference.
