🎬 "Featureban online" with Allan Kelly

Experience flow, understand what gets in the way of achieving delivering value, see work-in-progress limits and learn Kanban principles.

📝 This immersive simulation uses an online version of the popular Featureban flow game to demonstrate the problems getting work to flow, how bottlenecks occur, the power of work-in-progress limits and the principles of Kanban thinking like "stop starting and start finishing."
In this simulation you will see the work build up and experience changes that reduce bottlenecks, improve flow and see how work completes when work-in-progress falls. By the end you will have take-away actions you can use immediately to improve your team's flow and delivery performance.

This workshop is based on the popular Featureban game devised by Mike Burrows - author of "Kanban from the Inside", "Agendashift" and "Right to Left".
A core group of volunteers (4 or 5) will play the game while the wider audience observes and makes suggestions for improvement.
Session will be organised in the following steps>
1. Volunteers selected for the game and asked to join the game board
2. Featureban game rules explained
3. Non-players assigned to breakout-groups
3. Round 1
4. Suggestions for improvement
5. Changes agreed
6. Round 2
7. Review and debrief, questions and answer.
