Wish You Were Here: a brain-based exploration of Remote Work
When the Pandemic forced us all to rapidly adapt to remote work, it created an unprecedented experiment in workplace culture and productivity. The experience wasn't as straightforward as just trading cubicles for home offices, though.
This talk will dig into the complexities of that shift and, applying the multidisciplinary lens of behavioural science, neuroscience, and psychology, we’ll uncover some unexpected truths in this new work paradigm. We'll discuss the impact of isolation, the struggles of work-life balance, and how the post-pandemic landscape of remote work has rewritten the rules of engagement.
We’ll journey through the challenges and impact of remote work on individuals, teams and leaders, we’ll look at the ways we can nurture a sense of belonging in virtual teams, and we might even uncover some of the enormous potential in the virtual world and beyond.
