Using Agile to create successful habits for you and your team

Join us in June for a workshop to help us create better habits for ourselves and our teams, facilitated by Birgit Gaiser. This workshop was previously presented at Lean Agile Scotland 2023.

About the workshop
Birgit will look at the theory behind forming and changing habits, how the Scrum pillars and working incrementally can help with this, and why we need to tailor habits to get maximum value from them.

Using a combination of teaching and interactive exercises, we’ll move from a general understanding of habits to the specific habits we’re hoping to establish for ourselves or our teams and take away some actions to get us started on the journey.

About Birgit Gaiser
Birgit has been working as a Scrum Master for Tesco Bank since 2023, and has previously been a Scrum Master in Lloyds Banking Group, Historic Environment Scotland and NHS National Services Scotland.

They started their career as an academic researcher in Toxicology, and like to believe that their old skills such as spotting patterns, designing experiments, hoping that the metrics show they worked and trying to eliminate unnecessary acronyms still come in handy.

Facilitation is their favourite part of the Scrum Master role, and Birgit could spend all day designing workshops, activities and templates, experimenting with Liberating Structures and finding new retro ideas.
