The Feedback Superpower

Giving and receiving critical feedback is hard. We often find ourselves getting defensive or even angry in the face of criticism; however, feedback is a rare and generous gift that can literally change your career trajectory. Whatever role you are in, this talk is about how to navigate predictable emotional responses to maximise outcomes when you have that tough conversation. In the session, we'll look at how we can apply some well-known theories and models in practice and explore some examples together.

Our Speaker: Tim Leslie, is an Engineering Manager at Skyscanner. He has previously worked as Head of Engineering at BlkBox.ai and Zego and has led teams of up to 40 people. He has a young family and enjoys golf and skiing on the rare occasions he can find time!
