Lean Agile Glasgow - Task switching, testing and community

Details
At your Lean Agile Glasgow event this July, we have the following line up:
1. Workshop: Multitasking Simulation (catchy, I know) - With Russell Murray
I’m sharing one of my go-to client workshops that I’ve found effective in achieving a deeper focus on ways-of-working and improvement.
This versatile multitasking simulation allows groups both small and large to quickly experience, measure, and reflect on the nature, sources, and impacts of ‘disruption’.
Then, we’ll assess the probably surprising prevalence of multitasking in your own context and what you might do about it.
Spoiler alert: if you are thinking ‘huh, but why multitasking - that’s not really a measure people talk about a lot’, and granted its not particularly in vogue is it, then consider that we may well uncover through our simulation over 50% more waste for one person to multitask, not to mention impacts on quality, releasability, and of course the stress felt by staff day to day…and that’s for an apparently simple task…
Russell's Bio: Hi, I’m Russell and I’m an independent agile consultant.
I’ve been coaching and leading change initiatives and delivery projects for the best part of 15 years, and I like nothing more than achieving that series of breakthroughs needed to get management and teams really working together to build self-awareness and get traction on their challenges.
