Really excited about this meet-up, and the discussions will be around customer development and discovery. I'll (John) kick things off with an overview of customer development and some examples from my own experiences, but the main speaker will be Bradley Kipp.

Bradley Kipp will discuss customer development at the very early stages of a startup. Topics will include specific, cost-effective strategies used to find and contact potential customers, as well as changes made to their business model based on the feedback received.

Bradley Kipp is co-founder of UpHex, a HackCville-based startup building a better analytics experience for e-commerce businesses. Prior to UpHex, Bradley was a founding VP and CFO at Cardagin, a mobile loyalty startup. Prior to the startup world, Bradley held several boring positions in large investment banks. Bradley has a bachelor degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from UVA's Darden School of Business.
