How to Build a Startup

How to Build a Startup

Details

Because of the demand for this meetup on Wednesday (Feb 20) I have scheduled another meetup on the same topic for Wednesday April 03. The talk will be at William Fry, Wilton Place, Dublin 2.

This is “How to Build a Startup” based on using the Lean Startup methodologies.

I will introduce the key steps of the Customer Development process as described by Steve Blank on how to identify and engage the first customers for the product, and how to gather, evaluate and use the feedback to make the product, marketing and business model far stronger. The focus will be on SEARCH and not the EXECUTION.

This introduction is NOT limited to technology startups and the principles may be used by any startup.

Presenter: Raomal Perera
Raomal is a serial entrepreneur having been the co-founder of two technology companies; Network365/Valista and ISOCOR; Network365 acquired US company iPin and formed Valista in 2003. Valista was acquired by Aepona in 2009. ISOCOR was listed on NASDAQ in 1996 and subsequently acquired by Critical Path in 1999.

Raomal is currently an Adjunct Professor, in the Entrepreneurship Department at INSEAD
