Details

We're back! Kicking off 2016 picking up where we left off from Stanford University's Blitzscaling course, led by Reid Hoffman.

Apologies for the delay in getting this back up and running, we've had some renovations at the office and decided to hold off on LeanCoffeeTO until they were completed.

The series continues on the Tribal Stage level (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm7mN9ERp4o&list=PLnsTB8Q5VgnVzh1S-VMCXiuwJglk5AV--&index=5). It features John Lilly and his experience using the community to scale Mozilla.

Full Description of the series is below:

****Note: you do not need to have attended previous sessions to join in on the series.

Each lecture is fairly self-contained.

By popular demand, we will be running a series of sessions following along with the highly-anticipated Stanford University course on Technology-Enabled Blitzscaling (http://techcrunch.com/2015/09/14/reid-hoffman-to-teach-blitzscaling-at-stanford-this-fall/).

From the class notes detailing the goals of this series:

"There is no step-by-step playbook on how to scale a company but there are strategies which have been learned and used by the individuals who have scaled companies. In this class they will bring in top individuals around the different levels of scaling to share the lessons learned."

The course has been put together by LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman after his involvement with last year's fascinating How to Start a Startup Series set-up by Y-Combinator's Sam Altman (http://startupclass.samaltman.com/).

We will review one session per week until the series is done (20 weeks with a break for the Holidays).

Expectations for attendees

  1. Watch / Read the lecture

  2. Show up on time

  3. Be prepared to discuss your perspectives on the matter, especially in regard to how it pertains to the world of Product Development

  4. Have a good time

Optional

  1. Have some coffee

  2. Make friends

Look forward to seeing you there!

Stay Lean, Stay Safe.
