Aligning the Enterprise with Team Topologies, conversations with Matthew Skelton
Details
On the 21st of July, we had a fantastic meetup with Matthew Skelton, one of the authors of Team Topologies , deepening the exploration of aligning the Enterprise with Team Topologies. The conversation was flowing, the questions were plenty and Matthew shared unique practical insights of using Team Topologies in the real world.
We all enjoyed so much this experience that we are organising a second discussion to explore even more questions, from core principles to edge considerations.
We will follow the same informal format of looking at a specific context, asking questions and exploring the solutions with Matthew.
The next session will focus on:
- Switching from projects to products,
- Initiating the work that it flows through the teams,
- Budgeting considerations for supporting teams,
- Working across the scales of the Enterprise with planning and strategy.
As a result of this session, you will:
- Get more understanding and a language to qualify the alignment and connections between teams across an Enterprise.
- Envisage how large initiatives that span across teams gets organised,
- Keeping focus and coherence of initiatives, while enabling flow and emergence.
