As the warm sun bathes the earth, nature celebrates the arrival of summer solstice. The summer solstice signifies the time when the earth is at the fullness of her strength, fertility, and abundance. It represents a time when we transition from the action of the spring, to the nourishment of summer. It is a time of new beginnings, of inner power, and brightness. This solstice is a universal symbol of light, life, growth, and the prospect of a bountiful harvest in the future. We experience the growth and maturing of intentions we planted in the spring and we appreciate reaping the benefits of intentional living which moves us in the direction of our abundance.
EXPERIENCE
Give yourself the gift of your own self-healing with this workshop of restorative yin yoga poses and healing vibrational sound. This program will consist of a nourishing and restful restorative yin practice led by Kate, cultivated to bring you into the Relaxation Response, a physical state of deep relaxation in which your body releases chemicals that slow down your breathing and heart rate. Once you’ve dropped into your stillness, Melissa will create a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience which intentionally uses sound to induce a state of relaxation and release. Dress comfortably and ready to relax! Stay for light nourishment and time to connect with the community after.
