ASL- 6 Week Summer Course! Level 1 Beginner

Join us in a 6 week ASL summer session!

Time: 10:00am- 11 am

The ASL beginner course is designed to introduce and teach you American Sign Language, a visual language used by the Deaf community in the United States and Canada. This course is parallel to what I teach at a University Level.
The course covers basic vocabulary, grammar, and syntax, as well as cultural aspects of the Deaf community. You will learn how to sign the alphabet, numbers, common phrases, and simple sentences, and will practice their receptive and expressive skills through interactive activities and exercises. The course also includes information about the history of ASL.
By the end of the course period, you will be able to communicate in ASL as a level 1 learner. You will have a better understanding of Deaf culture and identity.
