Learn and Play Modern Board Games!

This event will feature the beginning level deck building game Summer Camp! It is easy to learn and highly enjoyable. Other games will also be available.

Join us at Checkpoint 221 for an afternoon of board games, great food, and good company! With a variety of food carts, indoor climate-controlled seating, and a wide selection of beverages, it’s a comfortable place to relax and play. Some people like to bring a seat cushion for extra comfort, but most find the seating perfectly fine without one.

Please arrive a little early if you’d like to order food or grab a drink before we begin. The players who are at the table by 3:00 PM will choose the first game, and I’ll do my best to have it set up and ready to start by 3:15 PM. If enough people attend, we’ll get a second game going as well.

New to the group or not sure if you want to play? You’re welcome to come, watch a game, and get to know everyone first. If you arrive after we’ve started, there’s often an opportunity to join a second game or the next round.

I’ll be bringing a large selection of games to choose from. Checkpoint 221 also has a few games available, and you’re always welcome to bring a favorite game of your own to share!
