Learn and Play Modern Board Games

Join us at Checkpoint 221 for an afternoon of board games, great food, and good company! With a variety of food carts, indoor climate-controlled seating, and a wide selection of beverages, it’s a comfortable place to relax and play. Some people like to bring a seat cushion for extra comfort, but most find the seating perfectly fine without one.

Please arrive a little early if you’d like to order food or grab a drink before we begin. The players who are at the table by 2:00 PM will choose the first game, and I’ll do my best to have it set up and ready to start by 2:15 PM. If enough people attend, we’ll get a second game going as well.

New to the group or not sure if you want to play? You’re welcome to come, watch a game, and get to know everyone first. If you arrive after we’ve started, there’s often an opportunity to join a second game or the next round.

I’ll be bringing a large selection of games to choose from. Checkpoint 221 also has a few games available, and you’re always welcome to bring a favorite game of your own to share! Even better, if you can teach us how to play it!
