DevOps with Microsoft Tooling

Summary: Michael Levan, a Lead DevOps Engineer at PointsBet, will discuss using Microsoft tools, primarily Azure DevOps, for accomplishing common DevOps objectives such as being able to develop and release higher-quality software more frequently. Michael will go discuss and demonstrate how Azure DevOps ties together task tracking, source control, build/release and testing under one roof.

Bio: Michael Levan is a DevOps practitioner with experience in both the AWS and Azure ecosystems, with a recent returned focus on Azure. He is currently working on a book, “DevOps recipes with Azure,” that provides greater detail and implementable examples of these tools in action. He started in this industry like many do, in helpdesk/desktop support but has repeated developed himself in new technologies and automated his job, enabling him to rise to new opportunities.
