About us
We've taught Dungeons & Dragons to 100s of absolute beginners for 10+ years, for free. Meet in realspace for collaborative storytelling, chat, imagine, thrill, and laugh together.
Our “Courage & Chaos” series kicks off each year with a simple introduction to D&D, followed by fortnightly sessions around the table. After you graduate from that series, you will be ready to play D&D anywhere, with anyone!
Our pub meetups are a great way to meet new friends, form your own parties, and build experience beyond the beginner level.
We occasionally host workshops for those who want to lead their own D&D party—the leader is called a Dungeon Master, and it’s easy to do. We’ll show you the way.
We actively include people of all kinds and promote a respectful attitude among all our players. We especially take pride in gender diversity—both in and out of character!

Ibis Island, Barrambin / Victoria Park, Ibis Island, Spring Hill, AUWe invite you to continue to play around & find out* how much fun and solidarity comes from playing together at a table in a beautiful park, forming new groups and friendships. Let's train up for the 2032 Olympic Board Games, which we plan to play on this very spot— you might join a team or cheer them on!
We provide chess, dominoes, and word tiles, but invite you to bring your own games to share with others. We clean the benches and provide tea and coffee. All free. Note!! Our other events provide a shelter against rain and sun, but that shelter will be occupied for the other event being run here. So prepare for outdoor play in whatever weather is in store.
We especially invite players of Earthborne Rangers to come every week. If you are not attending the other event specific to ER, you must bring your own ER box, and Matthew won't be able to coach-- he will be doing another event in the same location.
(If you are an absolute beginner to Earthborne or D&D, first look in this group for an event that introduces how to play. After that you will get invited to other events here.)RSVP to this event to hear about any changes to the directions or times.
