Learn to play Earthborne Rangers for 2032 Olympics (B)

(This is the B table. If you RSVPed to the 10am event, don't RSVP to this one too.) Learn how to play a co-operative board game with other absolute beginners. Prepare for the 2032 Olympic Board Games— you might join a team or cheer them on! Free, nothing to prep, no experience necessary.

Earthborne Rangers (ER) excels with its initial simplicity and elegant depth. You explore a world with optimistic “solarpunk” themes as you work as a team to succeed together. It's like Dungeons & Dragons but a nice change from grim dungeon-crawling and disaster-fighting, and has more structure, less improvisation. Learn more about ER here.

These first 2 hours give you the general idea. You can leave anytime, but if keen, stay all day and afternoon to play with increasing depth as our Olympic-dreaming teams gel— whether you want to go for the gold on our final team, or just squad up to improve each other. Accessibility and comfort: There are no stairs. A "baby gate" in the venue is narrower than a standard door— but it's just waist high so a chair can be lifted over it. There is a toilet.

Soft start 9:30am onward. Actual play starts at 10:15 sharp, and as it teaches basic concepts, try not to be late. You can stop at any time, but keen players can continue well into the evening.
