What we’re about

bonjour,

This group welcomes all French language lovers.
We are based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia but we also organise online events for anyone in the world.

Whether you are looking for French lessons for
- yourself,
- your child or
- a friend,
please know we organise
- grammar lessons and
- conversation sessions
for every level.

Maybe you're ...
- a parent looking for French classes for your child,
- a retired person wanting to touch up your school French,
- someone who's always wanted to learn French,
- preparing for a trip to a francophone country,
- moving to France and need to learn/improve your French...
You've come to the right place.

We offer group classes & private/individual lessons of any level, by request.

For parents:
Bring your toddler(s), child(children), teenager(s) along to our classes, whether they/you are native speakers or not, we want to help you encourage their speaking & writing skills in French and improve yours!
You are welcome to sit quietly (no chatting please) in the background and take notes. Occasionally you will be invited to participate. Or you can drop your child off and come back at the end of the class.

Everyone is welcome, with or without French knowledge. This is a very friendly and supportive group to help you start your French language or rekindle your old school lessons.

What to bring?
A notebook, a pencil case, a water bottle and a big smile !
If you bring your child, please remember to take them to the bathroom before class & avoid food during class as it can be a choking hazard while speaking and a distraction. Thank you.

Who is Amélie?
Born and bred in France, moved to Australia in 2003, successfully homeschooled my children in Australia, until they were offered scholarships to prestigious schools on the Gold Coast.
My oldest daughter graduated her QCS/ OP in Australia with VHA10 result in French. There is no higher score! Then, she successfully passed her Baccalaureate in France on her 18th birthday. My second daughter also scored 100% in French at her ATAR. They both topped the subject achievement in the QCAA achievement awards.
It became a revelation to me that no matter what language is spoken at home, providing the right environment, children are all very capable to cope with more than one language at the same time.
It is possible to raise fully bilingual children in Australia.

I have been privately delivering French classes to toddlers, children, teenagers & adults for many years now. I own a current blue and am passionate about my job.
