What we’re about
This group offers German language lessons, focused especially on German grammar, pronunciation, and other technical language topics. The group is meant for learners of any level, and often also covers linguistic topics that can be applied to other languages.
All events will be virtual over Zoom and cost $10-$15 per lesson depending on the length and topic. The format is mostly lecture style, but with plenty of opportunity for discussion. You'll receive any slides used at the end of each lesson.
About me: I'm a linguist, native speaker of German and English, and private German teacher with about 4 years of off and on experience teaching German at A1-B2 levels. Most recently I taught German lessons as a Duolingo host (https://classes.duolingo.com/host/hankthemoose/profile). Lessons will be starting here on Meetup when Duolingo's platform goes offline at the end of January 2023.
