Chamber of Secrets Trivia and Reading

Did you know that parseltongue is 蛇佬腔 ("snake guy accent") in Chinese and Fourchelang ("forked tongue") in French?

Reading Harry Potter is a fun way to learn a new language! This is a study group for Potterheads to connect and support each other in our language-learning journeys.

Our first activity is a trivia quiz, in which you answer in the language you are learning.

During the quiz, you may refer to the books to practice scanning for information quickly.

Our second activity is to practice reading the books to improve our vocabulary and pronunciation.

There will be no teacher at this event. Participants are encouraged to help one another.

Optional: If you have a copy of the book in your preferred language, please bring it. Otherwise, we will share my copies in English, Chinese and French.
