Did you study Spanish when you were younger, but need a refresher? Or, have you been studying Spanish independently, but feel uncomfortable carrying on a conversation? This class is designed to help you build conversational skills in Spanish!

How do I sign up? Click here. You will receive an email with the zoom link and "Pre-Tarea" link.

Who is this for? Beginner Spanish learners who have had some prior exposure to Spanish and want to build conversational skills.

What does "Beginner" mean? You can say a few words in Spanish (Hola, Adiós, etc.), but you do not yet feel comfortable putting sentences together or having conversations in Spanish.

Will I be expected to speak Spanish? I would love you to speak Spanish during our session! However, I want people to feel free to try speaking at their own pace. Therefore, I will only call on you/expect you to speak Spanish if your camera is on. If you keep your camera off, I will not call on you or expect you to speak during our session.

Does this cost money? Nope, it’s free! This is your chance to get a taste of what my Beginner 101 course is like. If you want to learn more, you can enroll in our Beginner 101 course starting early January 2026!

Do you offer more regular Spanish classes? Yes! Winter Term Spanish classes start in early January 2026. Registration will open in late November! There are only 8 spots available per course. Click here to learn more.
