Inclusive and fabulous, Tango is a dance that will appeal to all abilities, experiences and sensibilities. Creatives, scientific minds, and all those who enjoy socialising will love trying this fascinating dance from Argentina, that is sweeping the world - it was even declared Humanity Intangible Heritage by UNESCO! All the meetup events start with Complete Beginner classes, followed by Intermediate/advanced workshops and social dancing (milongas). Events in Angel, N1, in a wide, airy hall. Open to all, solo and couples welcome. No exp. required.

SUNDAY OF TANGO: XMAS PARTY + 3 classes, and a full Milonga
NEW UNITY, 277A UPPER STREET, ANGEL, London N1 2TZ, GBSunday 14/12: CHRISTMAS PARTY!
This Sunday we will celebrate Xmas with a special milonga with a festive mood, a tree, a Xmas tango raffle, a DJ Tanda Request Box, a secret Santa tanda, cakes and even a Fun Tanda following Santa’s direct contact with Bruno (ho ho ho: check below!). Today we will do a wrap up of the year, so expect to be challenged and have lots of fun in the process!
The classes are at 2pm (Beginners, at the same time as Improvers) and 3pm (Intermediates and up). Later on, we will carry on with our milonga Los Angelitos, a relaxed and friendly place for dancers to connect and share a lovely embrace.
A few more details:
– DJ Tanda request box: write down the orchestra you’d like played at the milonga. If we have it we will play it!
– Secret santa: you will discover your secret santa during the evening!
– Fun Tanda: this is a surprise!
The milonga will start at 4.30pm with TDJ BRUNO. We will finish at 7.30pm.
COSTS: PAY BY CASH AT THE TILL
- Beginner class or improver class (one hour): normally £15 but £10 with packages.
- Intermediate and up class at 3pm: normally £25 but but £20 with packages.
- Milonga: £12 only including free drinks and cakes

TUESDAY of tango: Beginners, Improvers classes + Practica in Islington

Start Tango today: Our tango group classes follow a carefully structured curriculum to quickly give you the skills and confidence to express yourself on the dancefloor. We not only teach tango steps, but also tango music, culture and etiquette. To become a well-rounded dancer, don’t miss out on our regular classes and themed workshops in London.
Already an experienced dancer? Join the 8pm class to enhance your technique, learn exciting steps and the secrets behind to know how to lead and follow them, and have fun making friends.

SUNDAY OF TANGO: 3 classes, and a full Milonga in the heart of London!
NEW UNITY, 277A UPPER STREET, ANGEL, London N1 2TZ, GBJoin us at the welcoming and professionally-run weekly classes and Milonga at Los Angelitos, London’s friendliest tango social dancing space. Start your afternoon with classes:
- first for complete beginners at 2pm for your first steps
- also at 2pm the Improver class for those with a little more experience
- at 3pm by the Intermediate and Advanced class covering more challenging technique and steps
Classes by various professionals with a long experience. After the lesson enjoy the social dancing, with traditional music by different TDJs, the Buenos Aires style with tandas and cortinas.
Our hall features a smooth wooden floor, plenty of space, tables that can be reserved for groups of 6+, and a great atmostphere. Pluis with free cakes, wine and drinks on Sunday afternoon to keep you dancing.
