Sunday 22/12: LAST WEEK with maestra Noelia Coletti & afternoon of dancing!

We are excited to have with us today, the international tango maestra Noelia Coletti who will teach both classes, for her last classes in London!

Don’t miss Noelia’s precise and elegant technique, and inspiring style – from a tango teacher solidly established with her own school in Buenos Aires. Noelia began her artistic career 28 years ago, training as a social and stage dancer, and achieving an extensive tango career teaching, as a choreographer and trainer of numerous professionals. Noelia also worked as a dancer in prestigious companies and the most preeminent Tango festivals around the world. She also taught for Cirque du Soleil, danced for the Emperor of Japan and the Dutch Queen. Since 2015 she has served as jury in the City Championship and Tango World Cup in Buenos Aires and is the organizer of milonga De Querusa in the Boedo neighborhood.

The classes will be followed by our lovely and friendly milonga (social dancing) Los Angelitos, with TDJ Bruno.

What a Sunday! DETAILED PROGRAMME:

  • 2PM Beginners class (Level 1, 1 hour): TANGO: THE MUSIC. Discover why tango music is so special, and learn to adapt your steps to the music. For further classes check our Beginners page for our beginner curriculum & offers.
  • 2PM Improvers class (Level 2, 1 hour): TANGO – EMBRACE FUNDAMENTALS. Why are we dancing tango? Many will answer, ‘for the embrace’. It is therefore the most important of everything we learn in tango to get it right. You won’t want to miss this lesson with our maestra!
  • 3PM WORKSHOP (Level 3 & 4, 1.5 hour): EMBRACE, EMBRACES: ADVANCED MASTERCLASS. With the maestra, learn what you can do with the embrace to add expressivity, a different connection, and much more. Don’t miss the maestra’s last London classes!
  • Classes with Noelia Coletti & Bruno and Will & Esra for the complete beginner lesson
  • 4.30PM MILONGA Los Angelitos, often described as the friendliest in London. TDJ Bruno and last tanda at 7.30PM. Free wine and cakes.

COSTS: PAY BY CASH AT THE TILL

  • Beginner class or improver class (one hour): normally £15 but RSVP with Meetup and we offer you £10 for your first lesson :-).
  • Intermediate and up class at 3pm: £20 with RSVP with Meetup.
  • Milonga: £12 only including free drinks and cakes with RSVP
