Practise English with the Tarot

Each session focuses on a specific tarot card. In the first 22 classes we will focus on the Major Arcana cards, and the theme of the class will be related to that particular card.

The class lasts one and a half hours

### In this session, you will:

• Explore what one of the cards in the Major Arcana represents and how to talk about it in English
• Learn useful adjectives, collocations, and phrases for discussion
• Take part in guided conversation tasks based on the theme
• Practise speaking through a variety of interactive activities

There will be opportunities to work in pairs and small groups so you can actively participate and build confidence speaking English.

### 🃏 Do I need tarot cards?

No — you don’t need your own tarot cards to join. You do not even need to know anything about tarot.
If you do have a deck, you’re very welcome to bring it along, especially if it’s a different version. We will mainly use the Rider–Waite tarot deck, but alternative perspectives are encouraged, and the main focus is speaking.

### 💻 Technical requirements

• A laptop or desktop computer is strongly recommended (mobile phones can work but may be harder to follow visually)
• Please use headphones or a headset to ensure clear audio for everyone in the group

### 👥 Group size

Maximum 6 students per session, to ensure everyone has time to speak and interact.
