Tech Talk: Relevance of RAG to the success of LLMs
Speaker: Miles Novotny @Oracle
Abstract: In this session, Miles will talk about how Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is essential to the future success of generative AI. LLMs have proven their power but face a few key hurdles that hinder their widespread adoption. Miles will dive into how RAG solves some of these issues and improves their enterprise viability.

Tech Talk: Realtime RAG - Data Model APIs
Speaker: Krish Arvapally (Dappier)
Abstract: In this talk, we will show developers how to boost their AI and LLM applications by adding proprietary data from trusted sources across fields like news, sports, entertainment, and healthcare. We aim to make AI responses more accurate and up-to-date, reducing errors no matter the question. We will cover easy ways to access and use reliable data, improving how AI apps provide information.

Tech Talk: Fast and Portable LLM Inference for llama2 models in the cloud
Speaker: Michael Yuan (Second State)
Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss how to develop lightweight, high performance, and portable LLM applications in Rust using the open-source LlamaEdge framework. Compare with Python-based or C++ based solutions, LlamaEdge apps have no complex dependencies and can be simply copied over to another machine with another GPU. He will provide an overview of the open-source and a quick demo.
