Recording and Editing for Voice Acting (online course)
Details
A technical course, teaching you how to record your voice, clean a file, edit it and finish it to a professional level.
Are you a voice artist, podcaster or record for your own project?
With home studios, doing the tech is a big part of voice acting
and as a voice actor, I can completely appreciate how boggling it can be.
Let me help you...
In this course, you’ll learn
- What equipment you’ll need for a professional setup (and what you don’t need)
- How to record a job/ audition
- How to “clean” your recording of background and unwanted sounds
- How to replace just a small section of your recording
- How to stitch a few different recordings together
- How to “wrap it up” and export (plus, different file types you need to know
- And more
This course is for you if you:
- Consider becoming a voice actor.
- Have all the right equipment and don't know what to do with it.
- Want to start a podcast/ YouTube channel
- Have been asked to record an audiobook or do a voice-over and need some technical support.
- Want the freedom of being able to record and edit on your own computer.
Hi, I'm Jennifer Bradley (but call me Jen).
I've been working as a voiceover artist for many years and done a wide variety of jobs.
I have my own home studio from which I can record and do all editing.
I work with both Audacity and Adobe Studio.
In the course, we'll focus on Audacity.
With any course I teach, it's important to me that you leave with everything you came for. I will make sure that things are clear and will "take you by the hand" when needed.
This is a practical 3-week course.
By the end of this course, you’ll have all the technical skills you need to edit a successful voice acting job or audition.
You don't need any experience or technical knowledge.
You can do it.
I'll show you how.
