Full Site Editing is a new experience that allows you the freedom to build every aspect of your WordPress site, from the header all the way down to the footer, using the power of blocks within the Site Editor feature.
But what is the Site Editor? How does it differ from the page and post editor we’re used to? How can we use templates in the Site Editor to create our overall site structure?
Whether you're a brand new WordPress user or looking to refresh your knowledge, all are welcome to this Social Learning Space. Join us as we navigate and explore the new tools together, ask questions, have fun, and try not to break too many things.
During this session, we'll learn:
- The difference between the page/post editor and the Site Editor
- How templates within the Site Editor are used
- How to apply this knowledge to our own sites
This session will include both a presentation and an interactive live demo section - if you'd like to join in, please feel free to bring your own test sites so we can learn together!
