Open Source Principles and WordPress

WordPress is an open-source project. That might not mean much to you as you use the software to build your website, but in reality, the open-source nature of the project is what has enabled it to grow and thrive.

In this session, we'll look at four core open-source principles and how they apply to WordPress. Not only will this give you a deeper understanding of how WordPress came to be and continues to be built, but it will also show you how you are a part of the wide world of open-source, whether you knew it or not.

This session is at 9:00 pm UTC on Monday, 9 May - here's a time converter to see what that is in your timezone: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20220509T210000&p1=22&p2=tz_jst&p3=176&p4=tz_cest&p5=411&p6=tz_ct&p7=tz_pt
