The WordPress Create Block command line tool allows you to quickly scaffold a new block plugin. In this workshop, you will learn what you need to get started with Create Block, how to use it, and dive into the code it generates.

If you want to work with me during this session, you will need the following:

  1. You will need [Node.js and npm installed](https://learn.wordpress.org/tutorial/installing-node-js-and-npm-for-local-wordpress-development/) on your computer.
  2. Access to a local WordPress install.
  3. A text editor to edit WordPress files.

I will be using Visual Studio Code as my code editor for the workshop.

Audience: Developers
Level: All levels welcome
Where: Zoom (link will be visible after RSVP)

This session is being held at an EU/Africa/US Eastern-friendly time. If you cannot get to the live session, keep an eye out for the recording we’ll be publishing on WordPress.tv and learn.wordpress.org after the session is completed :-)

See you soon!
