WordCamp Europe Contributor Day is happening on June 5th, 2025! As we get ready for the event, we’d love to hear your suggestions for activities and tasks that contributors at the Training Team table can participate in. ## How can I prepare for Contributor Day?

  • First of all – sign up for Contributor Day! (The form is at the bottom of this page)
  • Make sure to check your email inbox for pre-event information! Check your spam folder once in a while so you don’t miss out on any news from us
  • Create a [wordpress.org account](https://login.wordpress.org/register) if you don’t have one already. This account can be used for all contributing activities.
  • Create a [gravatar.com account](https://gravatar.com/). If you’d like to use an image/avatar on your WordPress Profile go to gravatar.com and create an account using the same email.
  • Join the international Make WordPress Slack workspace.
  • For this you need an invite so, while logged in with your wordpress.org account, visit the WordPress + Slack page and click the link to receive the invite via email.
  • From the email login to the Slack team. For your email address, use {username}@chat.wordpress.org where {username} is the user name you picked for wordpress.org. If possible, pick the same username for Slack.
  • Search for #contributor-day channel
  • If you don’t already use Slack you can access it here.
  • Get ready to plug in!

  • Assist with Project Thread: Learning Pathways on Learn WordPress
  • Join a session discussing practical insights into lesson creation
  • Create content

  • Cross-team collaboration opportunities

## New Contributors

  • Contributors walk through the Onboarding Paths
  • Review online courses and submit feedback
  • Write a script for a learning pathway lesson or other lessons under Ready to Create
  • Review published content and submit an error report
  • Spelling mistakes
  • Outdated content
  • Something is not clear and needs improvement
  • Screenshot/images missing.
