## What We'll Cover

APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) are the backbone of modern software—connecting apps, automating workflows, and enabling AI integrations. In this hands-on session, we'll go beyond surface-level understanding and actually use APIs to build something real.
Whether you're new to APIs or have some familiarity, you'll leave with hands-on experience and a clearer picture of how to put them to work.
You'll learn:

  • How APIs fit into modern automation and agentic AI workflows
  • RESTful fundamentals: requests, responses, authentication — with live examples
  • How to read API documentation and navigate endpoints confidently
  • How to make your first real API call
  • How AI agents use APIs as their "hands" to interact with the world
  • Best practices for working with APIs responsibly and securely
