Agentic AI (L1)

In this first lecture, we set the stage for thinking about AI Agents: what they are, how they behave, and why they matter. We explore the difference between AI-driven software and traditional software—not just in terms of code, but in how we frame problems, spot opportunities, and decide where intelligence adds value.

You’ll note how agents differ from the tools we’ve been building for decades: instead of fixed instructions, we get adaptive, goal-seeking behavior.

Along the way, participants introduce themselves and share perspectives, giving us a glimpse of the diverse lenses through which we’ll explore this field. This isn’t about jargon or hype—it’s about learning to ask the right questions, to see clearly when an AI system is needed, and when the old tools do the job just fine.
