Welcome retirees! We're an in-person community of lifelong learners committed to flourishing in our post-career lives. I started this group to meet and learn from others who are eager to stay curious and engaged in this next chapter of life. We'll meet to discuss relevant topics and share insight as we seek to grow, evolve, and make the most of the opportunities and challenges of retirement.

Who doesn’t like laughing out loud? Whether its hanging with friends and family who crack you up, or watching funny clips on social media, laughing is a wonderful way to lift your spirit.
Especially these days when there is plenty of fear and worry for many of us. It really helps to take a break from the chaos and the relentless news cycle for peace of mind. That is when a good laugh can do wonders. Laughter can reset your brain, helping you to feel more positive and optimistic. Even when we are facing tough times – relationships, health, finances, care giving - whatever any of us might be dealing with, laughter can make us more resilient, helping to reduce stress and pain.
So, how about we get together and laugh? Let's talk about our go to sources for a good laugh or a big smile. Do you have funny friends, favorite podcasts, comedians, shows, or social media posts that make you laugh? Are you the one with a great sense of humor?

I find this stuff hilarious - maybe you do too, or maybe not. Humor is subjective and it will be fun to find out what kind of humor makes each of us laugh.
