Let's enjoy frozen water fountain icicles, a local farm with optional fruit picking and fishing activities, Chichibu downtown exploration, and great conversation
Meeting time: 8:45am
Meeting place: Seibu Ikebukuro station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line
1F Ticket Gate(for Seibu Gate/East Gate)
Meetup event fee: 6,500 yen in cash on the day to the organiser.
Includes round trip train (Including the famous Limited Express "La View" with free WiFi and clean WC) transportation between Ikebukuro station and Ashigakubo/Chichibu area, Ashigakubo Icicles admission ticket, local bus to the farm, Meetup organisation fee.
Does not include: Strawberry/mushroom picking, Lava BBQ, lunch, trout fishing, Chichibu onsen, Night light up admission, Shopping, Personnel Expense, meals. On weekend nights, the icicles are lit up, and the mystical space changes colours in a myriad of ways, shining like a jewel box in nature.
Please bring your Japanese residence card or foreign passport with you.
I recommend bringing snacks for the LaView train ride. You can have your breakfast on LaView train.
It's a 10-minute walk from Ashigakubo Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line to the icicle venue. Please wear comfortable shoes.
*A complimentary cup of Yokoze Town black tea or amazake could be available at the icicle venue until 4pm. Amazake is a traditional, sweet, and low- or non-alcoholic Japanese fermented drink made from rice and koji (rice malt). Known as a "drinkable IV drip," it is highly nutritious, packed with vitamins and enzymes, and consumed for health and beauty benefits. It comes in two types: non-alcoholic koji amazake and, sometimes, a version made from sake lees.
Around 5 pm - We will head back to Ikebukuro station.
Meal cost: depends on what you order. They have BBQ and fish on a stick. You can bring your own bento.
The event will end at Ikebukuro station around 7 pm.
