[Return of Series: Salsa Dancing], "So You Think You Can't Dance"

We're returning to the salsa dancing series and welcome newcomers. We will be meeting at existing free public salsa events, which often have free beginner lessons (just not enough lessons for people to pick up on so that's where Learning Let's Go picks up). Therefore, as long as weather holds up, our events will almost always occur even with low numbers.
Series: Salsa Dancing
- Mondays (The Anchor, 1 Shipyard Park, Charlestown), Salsa Y Control
- Fridays (alternating) (75 Assembly Row, Somerville), Metamovements
In this series, we'll be learning some basics of salsa dancing. We'll go over some basics steps and moves. Also, we'll plan to have a curriculum and records, trying to optimise for maximum memory retention and based off of things you already do so it's easier for you.
- Level 1: Beginner (basic steps, moves)
- Level 2: Advanced Beginner (patterns, constructs)
This series is for beginners. No partner is required, but you should feel physically comfortable to try either leading or following.
Drop-in/Costs:
- Free, but donations appreciated to help cover meetup fees (~$210/yr)
Schedule:
- 6:00-6:30p Free pre-Event, with free lessons by sponsors
- 6:30p: Arrive, meet, and continue up sponsored lessons
- 6:45-8:30p: Re-group for continued Learning Let's Go lessons*, practice with each other
