What we’re about
Our Purpose:
Each of us have talents to share. So let's share what we were given to allow us to all experience this abundance in life. Here, we intend to be focused on learning and being a supportive group to learn / have lessons on various topics casually: dancing, music, photography, technical/job searching, sports, cooking, etc.
You:
A person who is ready with a learning mindset with a respectful attitude to others in the group, willing to help out as needed.
What to Expect:
There will be a series of different topics, starting with the things organizers have interest in or have done. We can have members teach others activities and for some series.
- Safety: Events will target visible areas and/or areas with likely public cameras for safety of all participants.
- Tracking Progress: We will have a spreadsheet to track progress.
- Media: Events may be recorded for learning purposes and/or fun, promotional videos.
Dues/Funding:
Some activities may have costs associated with them to pay for the meetup fees, enable learning other activities, or to cover costs for some people who just can't afford to do things. However, we will try to keep them cheap / low as we know the current environment is getting harder for us all to manage.
