When most people think of Buddhism they probably picture a bald headed monk in a temple chanting mantras. Although retreating to a temple and removing oneself from their hair may sound like the only way to reach a state of everlasting peace and enlightenment, this is actually not the case. The Buddha recognized that not everyone can live a path of a monastic, but in fact that the common being could also find everlasting peace within their daily routines and lives. This group will focus on incorporating the Buddha's teachings and practices into our daily lives.

Be prepared to sit for 20-30 minutes in meditation followed by a talk/teaching lead by the host and eventually sometime for questions.

The group is lead by host Adam Asdel with occasional guest hosts. Adam is a Buddhist practitioner and Mindfulness/meditation teacher who has studied the Buddha's teachings for the last 10 years.
