Explore the ancient and mysterious art of Belly Dancing for ages 8+ with absolutely no experience.
Come sway, shimmy and jingle with Gina Capossela as she teaches you basic beginner Belly Dance moves and creates an entire dance just for you. Belly dance favors all shapes, sizes, ages, genders and ability levels – and no – you don’t have to show your belly! No special clothing is required. Just bring a smile and Gina will turn you into a belly dancer within one hour. Pre-registration is required.
Gina has a Master’s Degree in Dance and Master’s Degree in Social Work. She teaches Middle Eastern and American Belly Dance full-time and has taught in the Upper Valley for 18 years. Her dance company, The Raqs Salaam Dance Theater, is a favorite in regional shows, fairs and festivals, including their annual showcase at the Lebanon Opera House.
