Join us at the Life Enrichment Center for an array of classes, including painting (oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels), drawing, creative writing, air-dry clay, tai chi, mah jong, bridge, and much more!
The Life Enrichment Center is located in the quaint north Tampa neighborhood of Forest Hills at 9704 North Boulevard, Tampa 33612. Our contact information is (813) 932-0241 or info@lectampa.org.
Our attendees are active adults of all ages (primarily 50+). Our professional instructors work with participants at all skill levels, so everyone is welcome and included. Classes are small and one-on-one attention is provided.
This is a fun place, with friendly people who have similar interests. There is no other place like us in Tampa!
As our society continues to age and lives longer, organizations like ours are becoming even more important. Research indicates that baby boomers are going to be looking for activities that challenge and stimulate them and enable them to explore creative options for which they have not previously had time. This is exactly what the Life Enrichment Center has been about since its inception in 1980 – offering innovative classes and activities that provide adults with the opportunity to continue to learn and grow.

Join our Open Studio and paint in a fun, creative environment with fellow artists! Start a new painting, work on an existing project, or bring a painting that is challenging you. The Art Open Studio is the perfect space to help you overcome artistic obstacles and successfully move forward with projects in a fun, collaborative environment.
Artist and instructor Tim Gibbons will offer one-on-one instruction, creative guidance, constructive critiques, inspiration, and support to help artists make progress with their projects.The LEC’s Open Studio is a great opportunity for artists to work on their projects a little more freely and at their own pace, enjoy fellowship with other artists, gather insights, observe other artistic processes, and discover new ideas and techniques.
Simply bring your project of choice, paints, brushes, and any supplies necessary to your project.

Fridays, 10 am - 12 pm
Cost: $10 / $12In this class we will explore different drawing methods and techniques to start a drawing and finishing it. Students will work from the same resource which will be sent before class.
Any Drawing supplies and paper you have will work. Don’t forget the erasers!
This Class is great for Beginners to Advanced students!**Although the instructor is online, you may attend from home OR at the LEC.**
