About us
This Meetup group is for people who love great curries, like trying new restaurants, and who enjoy meeting new people. It's as simple as that.
The Curry Club meets about twice a month at a range of curryhouses which are in and around Ledbury, including Bromyard, Tewkesbury, Hereford, Malvern, Ross and occasionally Cheltenham.
We have our favourites - like the Everest Eatery in Malvern Link and Sitara in Ledbury - but we are always looking for new places to try.
There is no membership fee. However, everyone attending a curry night contributes £2 which goes towards paying the fee for the Meet-Up subscription, and at the end of the year, any surplus is donated to a local charity.
So if you love curries, like trying new places, and would like to 'meet up' with an eclectic group of fellow curry-lovers for some good food, conversation and laughter, then do come and join us!
(We deliberately keep membership number under 50 - and unfortunately this does mean there's a waiting list, and it may be quite a few months before a space is freed up).

To the Ghurka Chulo for a great deal on a Nepalese curry! (S of Worcester)
Ghurka Chulo, 51 Canada Way, WR2 4XA, Worcestershire, GBSome of us went here for the first time last year, and had a very good meal, at a great price too! With pudding!
The Ghurka Chulo is one in a chain, and does a deal on Thursday nights:
poppadums and pickles, a starter, then main course with either rice or naan and ice-cream for dessert - all for £17.95!More info here: The Gurkha Chulo (Lower Wick) - Indian Restaurant and Takeaway in Worcester
It's not a big place, so table limit is 10.
But please be aware, there's another in the middle of Worcester. So if you sign up for this meetup, make sure you come to Lower Wick (south west of Worcester) and not Central Worcester.

Head to the top of Malvern for a curry at Yak N Yeti! (Maybe a beer first!)
Location not specified yetThere's more to curry in Malvern than Ghurka Chef, Anupam and The Bay Tree!
There's also the Yak N Yeti along the top road.....opposite the new pub....
While the curryhouse hasn't been great in the past, it's currently running a 4.8 approval on TripAdvisor so let's check it out.
And with the new real ale pub just across the road: The Old Royal Library | Black Country Ales we could go for a drink first. More details to follow nearer the time.
(You won't be able to book onto this event until the 1st February)
