A quick review and the Curry Club 2025 accounts!

Hi Everyone,
It's been another good year for the Curry Club with a lot of really good nights out and a membership with a lot of active participation. We've tried new places and revisited familiar places. Altogether we ate over 240 curries!
The 2025 charge from the Meetup organisation for our Ledbury Curry Club site was £347.06 (it's billed in US dollars and hence it is never a round number).
The income from the £2 that everyone (including me!) pays when they come out for a curry was £496.
In 2024 - because they tripled the charge but your subs were not immediately increased - there was a small surplus of £12.56 which was carried over to 2025.
In addition, this year, as Meetup allows 3 clubs to be run from one account, we have supported 2 other small clubs which were not viable otherwise: GHW Sunday Lunches and Six-Legged Walks around Ledbury. Their subs have been handed into the Curry Club kitty - a total of £93.22.
So....that means at the end of 2025 we have a total surplus of £254.72.
This will be divided into 2, and donations made to Ledbury Food Bank and Malvern Food Bank.
