Ledbury is often, and rightly, associated with poetry - Elizabeth Barrett Browning and John Masefield have links to the town, and the Dymock Poets were based just a few miles down the road. The acclaimed Ledbury Poetry Festival brings poetry fans to the town every summer.
BUT - this new group celebrates the art of prose writing.
Whether you're an experienced writer or just starting out, this is a place where people based in and near Ledbury can share work, receive feedback, or just come to shoot the breeze (it's also a social group!).
Once we have enough members we'll be meeting up once or twice a month, in pubs, coffee shops or other public spaces - maybe outside if it's a sunny day.
