Make New Friends! Relaxed - Meanwood Valley Trail - Meanwood to Golden Acre Park

Join us for a relaxed walk from Meanwood Park, along the Meanwood Valley Trail, all the way to Golden Acre Park.

Meet from 9:50 pm. Walk to start at 10 am.

£1 requested per walker, please. (Cash on the day is fine, or PM me for my bank details.)

Meet outside Waitrose, on Green Lane, Meanwood. Let's meet where they have the benches, and the ATM, outside the main entrance to Waitrose, nearest Stonegate Road.

We'll walk along the trail all the way to Golden Acre Park. At GAP, we can visit the cafe to have refreshments. It may be hot, so please also bring food and drinks with you to consume along the way. We can stop somewhere in Adel Woods for a break.

I estimate the walk will take about two and a half hours. It's roughly about seven or eight miles to GAP. At GAP, after the cafe stop, we can decide individually whether we're walking back or catching the bus back along Otley Road, to Headingley. From Headingley, it's a relatively short walk back to the starting point in Meanwood.
