This is an 8 mile walk by our group Leeds CHA Rambling and Social Club.
If you travel by bus then the No 34 from Leeds at 10am will bring you to White Cross PH at 10.50am when we will start the walk.
there is a gentle climb up to Hawksworth village where we will walk down the golf course to the Beck bottom and start to climb up fields, admiring the views until we reach the White House. crossing the road over to moorland where we will reach Sconce Lane and have a lunch break.
continue up Scone Lane passing Fairweather Grange and until we reach Reva Reservoir.where we can also enjoy the views before we make our return journey across to Hawksworth Quarry and back over farmland to White Cross.
You are welcome to attend up to 3 walks and if you then decide to join the joining fee this year is £6.
please wear appropriate walking clothing and footwear, bring pack up lunch and drink.
